While gambling can be fun, it can also be trouble and create financial problems. One way to help you play safe is to have (and stick to) a money management plan that includes: a) your current expenses, b) your financial goals, and c) ways to achieve those goals.

Before you spend money on gambling, check in advance to see how much you can afford to spend on entertainment, if you choose to play. If you have a surplus in your monthly balance, think first of the various ways to use it in fulfilling your goals.
